Jane Eyre Taught Me Romance

favorite Gold / Swan moments - 1/?

You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve,
And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground,
Dig them up, let’s finish what we’ve started,
Dig them up, so nothing’s left unturned

Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced,
Not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious,
But because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.

I ship Emma with a few people on the show (Gold, Jefferson, and now Neal) but I have to be honest and say that Captain Swan is now my OTP. I’m not abandoning the other ships….I’m just saying that right now Captain Swan kinda rules my life.

Also, what is the ship name for Neal and Emma? Nemma? I’m going to go with Nemma…

Golden Swan moment…

… and I can’t take it, okay? The chemistry, the dialogue, the delicious and constant power shift in their dynamics, they are perfection in should-be-couple form.

We are none of us one solitary thing. We are as transitionary as the ocean, each wave unique, never the same from one moment to the next. We are both heroes and villains, parents and children, capable of great kindness and greater brutality. It’s what makes us human. It’s what makes us real.
